UK Rail Accessibility

The value of lived experiences in passenger data

In October 2021, we were joined by LNER’s Accessibility and Inclusion Manager Charlie Woodhead, TransPennine Express' Natasha Marsay, and Disability Campaigner Anthony Jennings

Together with Wordnerds CSO Steve Erdal, the panel discussed some of the findings from our UK Rail Accessibility report - exploring what TOCs can do to give the best experiences, making decisions based on what their passengers are asking them to do.

Many thanks to Doug Paulley for the webinar transcription used in the subtitles.

So how do UK TOCs score on accessibility?

By listening to passengers on an industrial scale and using our artificial intelligence to read hundreds of thousands of social media posts, we've conducted a deep dive into rail passenger sentiment on accessibility.
